Bug Journal serves as a digital repository for entomological observations, allowing users to document and categorize their insect encounters. The application enables users to capture photographs and record detailed field notes, with automatic metadata collection of date and location accompanying each entry. Entries can be organized by date, name, or species for efficient retrieval.

Each journal entry can be exported either as a printable report or shared wirelessly via AirDrop to other iOS devices. The report format has been designed with educational and research purposes in mind, facilitating their use in academic projects.
